Erica Allis from UNEP with AGS studentsErica Allis, a consultant at the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) in Paris, was a guest speaker in Dr. Anand's International Organizations class on April 23. She talked about the history and mission of UNEP, and her work in the Tourism and Environment sector, the role of which is to mainstream sustainability into tourism development by demonstrating the economic, environmental, and socio-cultural benefits of sustainable tourism.
